If you’ve been waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for the English dub of the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc, today is your day! Funimation is releasing the dubbed version of all seven episodes of the arc.
Funimation explained on its blog, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc compiles the record-breaking film into a thrilling miniseries, with a fully original first episode centered on Rengoku, voiced by Mark Whitten in English, and two brand-new theme songs by the outstanding LiSA.”
Funimation also shared its excitement about the dub cast: “You’ll be able to hear all your English cast favorites as they tackle their greatest demonic threat yet, including Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro, Abby Trott as Nezuko, Aleks Le as Zenitsu, Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke, Landon McDonald as Enmu (Lower One) and more when the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc English dub drops . . .”
The Demon Slayer franchise has been a major player in the manga and anime world lately. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc also recently debuted in December.
The original manga, created by Koyoharu Gotouge, is now complete and available as a boxset, and it began its release in 2016. It is published in America by VIZ Media.
Funimation gave this description of the series:
“Bloodthirsty demons lurk in the woods, and nobody dares to venture out at night, save for the demon slayer of legend. Surviving in this harsh world, young Tanjirou takes it upon himself to protect his family–until the day that everything is taken from him in a vicious slaughter. Now, all he has left is his sister, and she’s not even human anymore.”
