This October will mark the debut of The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat—based on the light novels by Rui Tsukiyo and Reia—and the latest update is here with info on the theme song artists.
The opening theme song, “Dark Sees Light,” will be performed by Yui Ninomiya, and the ending theme song, “A Promise,” will be by Aira Yuki.
Crunchyroll previously announced plans to simulcast the anime as part of the Fall 2021 season. The series stars Kenji Akabane as Lugh, Reina Ueda as Dia, Yuki Takada as Tarte, and Shino Shimoji as Macha.
Masafumi Tamura (The Wise Man’s Grandchild) is directing and Katsuhiko Takayama (The Future Diary) is writing The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat at anime production houses SILVER LINK and Studio Palette.
Yen Press publishes the original light novels in English and sums up the story like so:
When a great assassin is reborn in another world, he finds himself the heir to a long line of killers from the shadows. With both his modern-day knowledge and experience and the special magic and techniques of this new world, he could very well become the most unstoppable assassin in history…!
