Fans of the products Good Smile Company has to offer will get a chance to peruse them in person thanks to the company’s first ever in-person US event. Smile Fest Vol. 1 was recently announced as an outdoor festival that will be held in Stanton, California on August 22, complete with special events like a cosplay contest, spin-to-win figure prizes, a stamp rally, and more.
The event will be live from 11:00am to 6:00pm PDT at the Rodeo 39 Public Market, and tickets are currently available for free. Registration will be open until the day of the event.
Some of the businesses in the market will be participating in the stamp rally, and the stamps collected throughout the day can be redeemed for special merchandise. Prizes for the cosplay contest include Good Smile Company figures, as well, and if that’s not enough winning opportunities for you, you’ll be able to purchase a spin-to-win ticket for $5.
As for the figures up for grabs, we’ll have to wait to find out more about those. Good Smile Company plans to update later on the various methods of securing exclusive merchandise.
