Fairy Tail’s Hiro Mashima Shares Boob-Drawing Advice

Fairy Tail’s Hiro Mashima Shares Boob-Drawing AdviceBoobs: real or animated, a pretty huge segment of the world likes lookin’ at ‘em.

But like any other body part, they can be hard to draw well. Enter Hiro Mashima, the creator of Fairy Tail and Edens Zero and known illustrator of said chest-level body parts.

As part of “Oppai no Hi” (that’s “Boob Day” in Japanese), Mashima posted some tips for drawing better breasts on his Twitter feed.

For you aspiring boobistrators out there, here’s our translation of his notes, from top to bottom, left to right.

It appears to be boob day, so here’s one point of drawing advice for beginners. When you draw from an angle, look out for how the clothing appears!

If you add an angle, it looks like this.
Wide
Narrow

NG (no good)
The area covered by the swimming suit has increased
A lot of people draw it like this, right?
I sometimes make the same mistake

Micro bikini

You can use the same technique with cocktail dresses and tank tops

There you have it. Mashima-designed chestal areas can now be seen on Edens Zero, which seems to be coming to Netflix soon.
