Another trailer arrived for the new Butt Detective movie, which we may or may not be reporting on simply because we like typing the words “Butt Detective.” In addition to revealing the movie’s cast and staff, the teaser announces an August 13 premiere date along with the full title, Eiga Oshiri Tantei: Sufure-to no Himitsu (Butt Detective: The Secret of Souffle Island).
The movie will be released as a double feature with Shinkai no Survival, AKA Deep Sea Survival! as part of this year’s Tokyo Manga Matsuri film festival. Akifumi Zako (Hugtto! PreCure) is directing the film, with Natsuko Takahashi and Jun Narita on the script at Toei Animation. Voice cast members Yuko Sanpei, Ayaka Saito, Takahiro Sakurai, and Ikkei Watanabe are reprising their respective roles, and you can see a new teaser below.
