Hasbro Aims to Crowdfund Largest Transformers Figure Ever

The Transformers line has been host to some truly tremendous toys, some of which stand at impressive heights. Figures like Fortress Maximus managed to scrape the two-foot mark, and now Hasbro is attempting to crowdfund the biggest Transformer of all time.

Naturally, the character in question is the planet-devouring Unicron from 1986’s Transformers: The Movie. The Transformers: War for Cybertron version stands at over 27 inches tall in Robot Mode, with over 50 points of articulation, and is a whopping 30 inches in diameter in Planet Mode. It all comes with a display stand to support its 19-pound mass.

Hasbro is looking to hit 8,000 backers through its HasLab platform by August 31, 2019, and supporting it to get one of your own will cost you $575. Unicron can be pre-ordered now ahead of an estimated early 2021 arrival if the campaign succeeds.
