Oricon has come through with the best-selling book rankings for Japan in 2018, which once again has Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece dominating the manga charts. This isn’t just an off and on phenomenon either, it marks the 11th year in a row for One Piece to be on top.
Coming in at second is Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia, with Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan a little over a million behind in the number 3 spot.

If you’re wondering about that dip in One Piece sales, there was one more volume released in 2017 compared to 2018.
As for light novels, Reki Kawahara’s Sword Art Online went all the way down to ninth place, switching spots with the new champ, Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord.
