My Hero Academia will be getting a live-action adaptation, it was announced today.
The adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi’s hit manga will be produced by Legendary, the folks behind the Hollywood version of Godzilla and Detective Pikachu. Producers Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter are in charge of the film on the Hollywood end, while on the Japanese end it’s Ryosuke Yoritomi from Shueisha, the publisher behind My Hero Academia.

Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A.
