Hunter x Hunter Manga to Go Back on Hiatus

Manga author Yoshihiro Togashi and Hunter x Hunter fans alike can’t seem to catch a break. Whenever he comes back from hiatus, it usually isn’t very long before he takes another break, and his next hiatus is on the way. According to an early look at next week’s Shonen Jump, Togashi will be back on hiatus starting with the following issue.

There’s a silver lining here, though, as it doesn’t sound like this one will last for too long. Togashi’s author note reads, “I received some donbei [noodles] from Nissin Foods as a resurrection prize, so I’ll be back once more within the year.”

Hunter x Hunter most recently returned to the pages of Jump on June 26.
