13th One Piece Anime Film Arrives Next Summer

It’s time to start getting ready for another One Piece theatrical adventure. It may still be about a year away, but the 13th One Piece anime film has officially been slated for a summer 2016 debut.

The announcement comes from the official One Piece website, which is light on details at the moment. Updates will come—including thoughts and comments from series creator Eiichiro Oda—in an upcoming issue of Japan’s Weekly Shonen Jump on August 31. At the moment we just know we can look forward to the main cast of Straw Hats getting pumped for their respective roles in the film.
