One Piece Joins Viz’s Neon Alley Network

The Viz Media-backed Neon Alley network is looking more and more promising, and the latest addition to its anime lineup is a real doozy. Announced via newsletter this morning, One Piece will be joining the roster of shows on the network, which is set to launch next month over PlayStation Network.

Aside from it being uncut and in English, there aren’t many more details available for Neon Alley’s presentation of the smash hit series, based on the sprawling Shonen Jump-serialized manga by Eiichiro Oda. Still, does this further entice you to plunk down the $6.99 monthly Neon Alley fee?

FUNimation is currently streaming new episodes of One Piece, and recently released the first volume of season four on DVD.
