A pair of anime films are on the way for Yowamushi Pedal, AKA Yowapeda. First up is the second compilation movie, Yowamushi Pedal Re:ROAD, which packs in episodes from the anime’s second season with new bits of animation. Headlined with LASTGASP’s theme, “Believer,” Re:ROAD opens for a limited run in Japan on June 12.

After that will be a newly-announced original feature, appropriately titled Yowamushi Pedal: The Movie. Wataru Watanabe, creator of the manga on which the anime series is based, is handling the story for the film, which opens in Japan on August 28.
