The Umamusume: Cinderella Gray manga is going on hiatus, but this one is all about preparing for the finale. As announced in this year’s 27th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine, Taiyo Kuzumi’s manga will be taking some time off, with plans to return to kick off the final arc on July 17.
This announcement coincided with the end of the fourth arc, “Grey-Haired Monster.” While waiting for the final arc, fans can look forward to new side stories on June 19 and July 3.
The Cinderella Gray manga recently inspired a TV anime adaptation co-directed by Takehiro Miura and Yuki Ito. Miura previously worked as an animation director on properties like Fate/Apocrypha and Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us. Ito is also known as an animation director from shows like Backflip!! and The Elusive Samurai. The anime is currently available to stream around the world on Amazon Prime Video.
Cinderella Gray, the anime adaptation of which is being animated at Cygames, is the latest Uma Musume series, and is based on the story of the real-life race horse Oguri Cap.
