It looks like we’re just about two volumes away from the conclusion of Marcey Naito’s Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister manga. According to the series’ official X (formerly Twitter) account, the series is set to end with volume 22.
The 20th volume just hit shelves in Japan on June 17, so we’ve got a couple to go after the latest release. The series first started in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine back in April 2021.
Kodansha USA Publishing releases the series in English and sums up the story like so:
Uryu Kamihate has had a rough start to life, but plans to forget it all by achieving his dream—matriculating into medical school. But when he arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, his dream of a quiet place to study goes up in smoke. Not only will he be living with the three beautiful, lively Amagami sisters—but he learns that he must marry one of them and take over the temple!
The manga previously inspired a TV anime adaptation, the second part of which kicked off in January.
The Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime is directed by Yujiro Abe (KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! 3), with Hiroshi Watanabe (Orphen) as assistant director at production house Drive. Yasuko Aoki (Phantom of the Idol) is handling scripts and Haruko Iizuka (Horimiya) is on character designs.
