If you were a fan of the recent CG-animated Ultraman anime on Netflix, you have a worldwide release of Ultraman season 2 to look forward to in the not-too-distant future. As revealed during this week’s Anime Ultraman Season 2 Kickoff Event that was held in Tokyo, revealing global premiere plans for 2022 and showing off the new ACE Suit design in the process.

Key staff from the first season will be returning for Ultraman season 2, including Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki along with Production I.G. and Sola Digital Arts.
Netflix sums up the first season succinctly:
Decades ago, a hero from the stars left this world in peace. Now, the son of Ultraman must rise to protect the Earth from a new alien threat.
