When the Tropical-Rouge! PreCure movie hits theaters in Japan, it’ll bring some characters from a previous PreCure installment along for the ride. Eiga Tropical-Rouge! Precure Yuki no Princess to Kiseki no Yubiwa! will have the girls of the Heartcatch PreCure! team joining forces with the five members of the currently ongoing series, bridging a decade-wide gap between the two.
Watch as two of the girls from Heartcatch—Nana Mizuki’s Tsubomi Hanasaki/Cure Blossom and Fumie Mizusawa’s Erika Kurumi/Cure Marine—make an appearance in the Tropical-Rouge! PreCure movie trailer below.
Nana Mizuki commented on the return:
“A movie? Really? I was so surprised and excited! It’s been a few years since the annual PreCure All Stars film… After performing in the 15th anniversary film three years ago, I was hoping that the 20th anniversary would be next, and I never thought I’d get the chance to perform as Cure Blossom again! I’m so happy!”
As did Fumie Mizusawa:
“I will work together with all the members of Tropical-Rouge! so that children who are seeing Heartcatch for the first time will be able to accept us naturally.”
The Tropical-Rouge! PreCure movie opens in Japan on October 23.
