A new key visual is here for Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima and illustrator Monda’s light novel series of the same name. The series is currently set to premiere in the already-stacked spring season this April, and you can see protagonist Leon on the attack in the new piece of art below.
The Trapped in a Dating sim anime is being directed by Kazuya Miura (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) and Shinichi Fukumoto (assistant director on The Detective is Already Dead), with Kenta Ihara (The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter) on series composition and Masahiko Suzuki (monster designs for Overlord) adapting character designs for the ENGI production.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the original light novels and the manga adaptation in English and describes the story below:
Office worker Leon is reincarnated into a dating sim video game, where women reign supreme and only beautiful men have a seat at the table. But Leon has a secret weapon: he remembers everything from his past life, which includes a complete playthrough of the very game in which he is now trapped. Can Leon spark a revolution to change this new world order?
