Transformers Prequel Film Coming from Toy Story 4 Director

Optimus Prime and Megatron hangin’ out in Cybertron. That’s what we can expect from a freshly-announced animated Transformers prequel film from Josh Cooley, the director of Toy Story 4.
The film will be written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, who penned Ant-Man and the Wasp.
It’ll “explore the origin of the heroic Megatron and the seeds of conflict between the harmony-seeking Autobots and domination-loving Decepticons,” says the Hollywood Reporter, who also reports it’ll be produced by Hasbro and Paramount Animation.
Director Cooley is also known as a screenwriter. He was nominated for the best original screenplay Oscar for Inside Out in 2015.
