As promised, big news arrived today for the TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You anime, which adapts the manga by Kenjiro Hata. If you were hoping for the announcement of a second season, you got your wish, and there’s also a “new episode” on the way in addition to the followup.
Crunchyroll joined in on the fun to confirm plans that TONIKAWA season 2 will stream on the service alongside the Japanese broadcast. Check out the first teaser promo below:

The second season has the staff and cast of the first returning, including director Hiroshi Ikehata, series composition writer Kazuho Hyodo, character designer Masakatsu Sasaki, and animation production house Seven Arcs.
