These Spring Anime Series Are Making a Big Comeback!

The spring anime season is full of returning shows we can't wait to see!

The spring anime season is just around the corner, and you know what that means… new simulcasts! Tons of fresh new anime are on the way, and we can’t wait to dive into them. But alone with those new shows are some returning titles. And there are a few in the mix that we can’t wait to get back to.

Here’s a small selection of shows coming back for a second season this spring. Which ones are you most excited for?

Mix: Meisei Story

MIX: Meisei Story

If you’re excited for both the spring anime season and the baseball season, you’re in luck. Mix: Meisei Story is coming back! Based on the manga penned by Mitsuru Adachi, the story follows a pair of stepbrothers as they fight to take their school’s team to the Koshien. The twist? This is the same school seen in Adachi’s classic series Touch. And in the years since that series, it has significantly fallen from grace.

Adachi is a legend in the world of baseball manga, with multiple iconic titles to his name. Having Mix back on our screens means having Adachi back on our screens. And we’re always excited for that.

TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You

TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You

Wholesome romance is back on the menu, boys! The spring anime season welcomes back TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You, a darling series from Hayate the Combat Butler creator Kenjiro Hata. If you’ve ever wondered whether married life is right for you, this series might very well push the needle toward “Yes.”

It’s about Nasa Yuzaki, who’s hit by a truck one snowy night and saved by a mysterious girl named Tsukasa. He asks her out, and Tsukasa agrees… if he’ll marry her. Two years later, she returns to collect, and their adorable married life begins. Amidst their newlywed experiences is the lingering mystery of who Tsukasa is. And what exactly are her connections to the legendary Princess Kaguya?

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch!

We couldn’t bear to go another season without Yuna! Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is returning for the coming spring anime season, bringing cozy isekai antics with it. It all started when gamer girl Yuna logged into her favorite VR game and got some OP gear. This adorable bear onesie gives her all sorts of powers… which is good, considering she’s found herself in the world of the game!

What new challenges will Yuna tackle? What further secrets is her bear kigurumi hiding? And how much cuter can one show get? We’ll find out in April!

Need something short in the meantime? Try these cute anime to brighten your winter.
