Tonari no Yokai-san Anime Trailer Debuts with More Details

The Tonari no Yokai-san anime previously announced plans to kick off its adaptation of noho’s manga in 2024 before narrowing that down to April. Now the first trailer is here along with the main cast members and staff making it happen.

Aimi Yamauchi (Salaryman’s Club) is directing Tonari no Yokai-san, with Tomoko Konparu (Blue Spring Ride) on series composition and Jiko Abe (My Senpai is Annoying) adapting character designs for the LIDEN FILMS production. 

Leading the cast we have Asaki Yuikawa as Mu-chan, Ryosuke Higa as Jiro and Yuki Kaji as Buchio. Check out the new trailer below.

The Tonari no Yokai-san manga first started on Twitter in August 2017, and then began its serialization on East Press’ Mato Gross website in July 2018. Four collected volumes have been published for the series, which features tales of humans and spirits of folklore who exist alongside one another in a small Japanese town.
