The Gundam Cafe is going big.

Located in Akihabara, the cafe has been a serious pilgrimage point for Mobile Suit Gundam fans for years. But even those who have been a few times will probably want to swing by again in or after July. That’s because the cafe will be expanded to roughly four times its current size.

The renovations will start March 23.

All this new extra space comes at the expense of the AKB48 Cafe next door, which has already closed.

We reviewed the cafe way back in 2013, and are definitely looking forward to what the new-and-improved space has to offer.
