The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal Drops Trailer

The anime The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal, which is about the Japan vs. Germany semifinal, will be here October 2. Ahead of this a trailer has dropped, and in it you can hear the opening theme song “Wake up” being performed by Kidella.

This new anime acts as the sequel to The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup. A visual was also released for it.

The new anime is being made at M.S.C., with Yoshinobu Tokumoto (previously an episode director for The Prince of Tennis II OVA vs. Genius 10) helming the project as the full-on director. The series composition is being taken care of by Mitsutaka Hirota, who has written for other parts of the franchise before. The music is composed by Chihiro Tamaki, known for working on The Prince of Tennis II Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future. Credit for character design goes to Akiharu Ishii, who has worked in the franchise since the first Prince of Tennis anime series.
