Looking forward to seeing more of The Fire Hunter anime? The series returns with The Fire Hunter season 2 in January 2024, and two new trailers made their way online to preview the anime and its theme songs. This includes Cocco’s opening theme song “Hikarakka” and Maaya Sakamoto’s ending theme song “Dakishimete.”

The Fire Hunter anime is directed by Junji Nishimura (Neo Yokio) and written by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell). The main cast from the first season will reprise their roles for the second. New cast members include Manaka Iwami as Yururuho / Sennensuisui, M.A.O. as Rurimatsuri and Akira Ishida as Hibari.
