After episode 11 aired, The Beginning After the End season 2 plans were officially put in place for 2026. Crunchyroll plans to stream the second season when it debuts, and in the meantime you can see a preview of the first season’s 12th episode below.

The Beginning After The End is being made at Studio A-Cat, with Keitaro Motonaga of Katanagatari and Jormungand helming the project as director. The music is being composed by Keiji Inai, whose credits include Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level.
The series started out as a webnovel by TurtleMe and also has a webcomic adaptation. Its title in Japan is Saikyō no Ō-sama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru? TurtleMe is involved with the anime adaptation as an executive producer and story supervisor.
