The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest

The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest is an upcoming anime that aims to adapt the light novels of the same name by Aruto and Yunagi. The series is set to premiere this October, and the latest update includes a new teaser visual and a cast addition.

The new cast addition has Yurika Kubo (Kikyo Kushida in Classroom of the Elite) voicing Lasting Period leader and support magic specialist Yorha Eisentz.

Here’s Yorha Eisentz’s design:

Ken Takahashi (Ragna Crimson) directs the anime, with Masamune Hirata as assistant director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu as series composition writer and Yoko Sato as character designer for the studio GEKKOU production.

K Manga publishes Yuki Moji’s manga adaptation in English and sums up the story:

“I don’t need a worthless mage who can only use support magic. You’re fired.”

Alec, a court magician who supported the crown prince from behind the scenes, suddenly finds himself exiled from the royal court. Now jobless, he pays the magic academy a visit and runs into Yorha, one of his party members from his school days. Their renowned party once set a record in the royal dungeon—and now it’s time to reunite and start a whole new legend!
