Back in March 2024 we learned that ’Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess season 2 is in the works, and now a release window is in place. The adaptation will return to the screen in January 2026, and while we wait for more info you can check out a new teaser visual below.

While there’s no official staff listing for season 2, the first season had Yoko Kanamori directing, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu on series composition and Toshiya Kono on character designs for the PINE JAM production.

Since its launch on Shonen Jump+ on April 4, 2019, the ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess manga has been collected in 11 volumes and has racked up 200 million views. The series is written by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei, and an English version is available via MANGA Plus. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the series:

As the war between the Imperial Army and Hellhorde rages on, the Princess, despite being armed with her mythical sword Excalibur, is captured and imprisoned. What kind of torture does she face at the hands of the chief demon interrogator? Fluffy fresh-baked toast! Hot, steaming ramen! Oh, the humanity! Can the Princess withstand these tormenting treats and keep her kingdom’s secrets safe?
