The saga of the anime adaptation of Kore Yamazaki’s The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga continues with the upcoming three-part The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Nishi no Shonen to Seiran no Kishi OAD series. This one will feature an original story, and two new cast members have been revealed along with the OAD’s first promo.
The new cast members include Aoi Ichikawa (Tsurune‘s Seiya Takehaya) as a mysterious boy and Hiromi Igarashi (THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ Anzu Futaba) as Gabriel. You can get your first look at them along with the rest of the fresh footage below.
The first part of the OAD series launches with the special edition of the manga’s 16th volume on September 10, with the other two to follow at some point after.

Hatori Chise has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls.
