December 1, 2008 This is quite the feast to return to after taking a break and having… quite the feast. With Thanksgiving behind us, we can now turn our heads back to things we’re truly thankful for… like ONE-METER TALL TOYS. Yes, you read that right, and as if that vague description wasn’t enough, I’m referring to Medicom’s recently announced one-meter (3 feet) EVA-01 figure from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
As part of toy manufacturer Medicom’s “Gigangelion Creation Project,” the eventual existence of such a toy was already known. Despite those rumblings, though, I’m sure no one was quite prepared for the announcement of the toy’s size, which actually manages to dwarf the Transformers Fortress Maximus sitting on my shelf back in Louisville, KY. Pricing and release date details haven’t been determined yet, but rest assured we’ll be back to bask in its shadow when we get our first look.
