Sword of the Demon Hunter debuted on March 31, after experiencing a significant postponement. Now we just got word that the dub will arrive on HIDIVE (where the subbed version is already streaming) on June 4 at 1 PM EST.
Information on the cast and crew was also released. Here’s who we have lined up for the dub cast:

- Donna Bella Litton (Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko) plays Byakuya
- Juliet Simmons (Kanade Ooe in Chihayafuru) plays Suzune
- Chaney Moore (Princess Kurama in 2022 Urusei Yatsura) plays Young Jinta
- Shanae’a Moore (Shion Ogura in The Demon Girl Next Door) plays Shirayuki
- Alyssa Marek (Ruby Hoshino in Oshi no Ko) plays Miyaka
- Luis Galindo (Donovan in Farming Life in Another World) plays Chieftan
- Kristen McGuire (Isabel Magnolia in Attack on Titan: No Regrets) plays Chitose
- Molly Searcy (Makoto Tsukauchi in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes) plays Foresight Demon

Shannon D. Reed is helming the project as the dub’s director.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the light novels and manga of the series. It gave this description for the first Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentōshō light novel:
Sword of the Demon Hunter Plot
For generations, a shrine has stood in the mountain village of Kadono, and for each generation the shrine has had an Itsukihime—its shrine maiden—and the maiden has had her guardian. During the Edo period, a young man named Jinta protects the town and the Itsukihime. When he confronts a strange demon in the nearby forest, it tells him that in the distant future a Demon God will threaten all people, everywhere, and it claims that the the Demon God’s rise to power springs from this very time and place, in the village of Kadono. So begins the centuries-spanning journey of a man tainted by demons, hunting through time to seek justice for what he’s lost, and to find a reason to keep on fighting.
