If you’re pumped about the upcoming anime adaptation of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, it’s time to mark your calendars. The latest update has the series—which is based on the novels by Kino’s Journey author Keiichi Sigsawa, with illustrations by Kouhaku Kuroboshi—making its debut this April.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online features Tomori Kusunoki (Hazuki in Märchen Mädchen) in the lead as Llen alongside Yoko Hikasa (Farnese in Berserk) as Pitohui. The light novels and manga adaptation have been licensed in North America by Yen Press.
Season 3 of the main Sword Art Online anime series will be arriving in October.
