Spy Classroom Character Video Is All About Lily

A new video for the anime adaptation of Spy Classroom has been released. It not only gives us a chance to see the character Lily, but it also announces that the anime will debut in January. This video is part of a pattern where Spy Classroom will be putting out a new character video weekly during the following six weeks. Here is the one about Lily.

Here’s what we know about the cast: Sora Amamiya plays Lily, Yuichiro Umehara plays Klaus, Miku Ito plays Grete, Nao Toyama plays Sibylla, Aoi Yuki plays Monika, Sumire Uesaka plays Thea, Ayane Sakura plays Sara, and Tomori Kusunoki plays Annett.

The anime is being made at feel., with Keiichiro Kawaguchi of Hayate the Combat Butler working as the director. Shinichi Inotsume, who also worked on Hayate the Combat Butler, is involved with supervising the scripts. Credit for character design goes to Sumie Kinoshita, who is known for working on Forest of Piano.

Spy Classroom, which is also known as Spy Room (or Spy Kyoshitsu in Japanese) started out as a light novel series by Takemachi. It has since also received a manga adaptation. Both the light novels and manga are published in America by Yen Press, and they gave this description for the plot:

“Following a devastating military conflict, countries fight their wars in the shadows. One unusual spy, Klaus, has never failed on the job despite his quirks, and he is building a team to take on an Impossible Mission—one with over a 90 percent chance of failure. However, his chosen members are all washouts with no practical experience. They’ll have to use every trick in the book (and some that aren’t) to prove they’re up to the task!”

Are you looking forward to also checking out the upcoming character videos in the next six weeks?
