Sure, Hiyori is teaching her new pal Koharu to fly fish in the Slow Loop anime—based on the manga by Maiko Uchino—but do their respective cast members know how to do it in real life? Thankfully we can now find out how they would fare, because lead voice cast members Rin Kusumi (Hiyori Minagi) and Natsumi Hioka (Koharu Minagi) have been featured in a new video that shows them learning the basics.
Maiko Uchino’s manga is currently running in the pages of Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Forward manga magazine, and the TV anime adaptation streams on Funimation. Here’s the official synopsis:
Nervous to meet her new stepdad, Hiyori heads to the place she always feels at home—the ocean. When a curious girl named Koharu shows up, Hiyori decides to teach her how to fish, just like her father did before he died. But after Koharu reveals she’s also meeting her new family that night, the girls come to a startling realization. Their friendship is about to reach a whole new level!
