This weekend saw the announcement of an anime adaptation for OVERLAP’s isekai light novel series, Skeleton Knight in Another World, which is written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by KeG. The announcement brought along the debut key visual and trailer for the ride, as well as the first details on the lead staff and cast.

Katsumi Ono (Hypnosis Mic) is directing the Skeleton Knight in Another World anime, with Takeshi Kikuchi on series composition, Toru Imanishi on character designs, and eba and Tsubasi Ito on music for the Studio KAI and HORNETS production.
So far the cast includes Tomoaki Maeno (Veldora Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) in the lead as Arc, Fairouz Ai (Hibiki Sakura in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) as Ariana, and Nene Hieda (Misa in The Misfit of Demon King Academy) as Ponta.
Seven Seas publishes the novels in English and describes them:
One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land. All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.
