Skeleton Knight in Another World Anime Kicks Off on April 7

More info has arrived for the Skeleton Knight in Another World anime, which is based on the light novel series written by Ennki Hakari. The adaptation officially kicks off its Japanese broadcast on April 7, and you can see the latest preview to the tune of DIALOGUE+’s ending theme song in the new trailer below.

Katsumi Ono (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle: Rhyme Anima) is directing the anime adaptation, with Takeshi Kikuchi on series composition and Toru Imanishi adapting character designs for the Studio KAIxHORNETS production. Cast members include Tomoaki Maeno as Arc, Fairouz Ai as Ariane, Miyu Tomita as Chiyome Nene Hieda as Ponta, and more.

The Skeleton Knight in Another World novel series first kicked off in 2015, and nine volumes have been released so far in Japan with a 10th on the way in January 2023. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the original light novels and the manga adaptation in English.

Synopsis:

When Arc wakes up, he discovers that he has been transported to another world in the body of the character he was playing in an MMO. Looking like a suit of armor on the outside and a skeleton on the inside, he is the Skeleton Knight. If his identity is discovered, he could be mistaken for a monster and become a target! Arc decides to spend his time as a mercenary so as not to attract attention to himself. However, he’s not the kind of man who can stand idly by when he witnesses evil acts take place right before his eyes! This isekai fantasy series about the Skeleton Knight’s unintentional quest to make the world a better place has arrived!!
