Singer Ichiro Mizuki has a long history of hot-blooded themes across anime and tokusatsu to his name, including the likes of Space Pirate Captain Harlock, Kamen Rider Stronger, Voltron, Voltes V, Godannar, Kamen Rider Black RX, a ton from the Mazinger Z series, and many more. Unfortunately, the singer has revealed that he is currently dealing with partial vocal cord paralysis, so he is focusing on recovery at the moment.
Mizuki initially shared the news during the Super Robot Spirits 2021 ~stage terra~ concert on Sunday. According to his update on Twitter, this is the first time this has happened in his five-decade-plus career, and he is undergoing “checkup after checkup” during the healing process.
