SHY Anime Announces Second Season

SHY Anime Announces Second SeasonMore SHY coming our way soon. That’s the word from the official site of the anime based on the manga by Bukimi Miki, who uploaded an illustration to celebrate the news.

New cast members for season two will include Shunichi Toki as Doki and Saori Hayami as Inori. Both appeared in the final episode of season one.

That season was directed by Masaomi Ando (Astra Lost in Space) over at 8-Bit studio.

The manga’s been running since 2019. Here’s how Yen Press describes it:

Earth was on the brink of a third World War when super-powered individuals came forth from each country around the globe, ending the conflict and ushering in a new era of relative peace. Among those heroes, Japan is represented by a timid young girl known as “Shy.” She may spend more time worrying about her own shortcomings than she does battling villains, but she’ll show the world that despite it all she still has the heart of a hero!

We’ll have more on SHY‘s second season, including a premiere date, when such details are revealed, so don’t be shy about coming back, y’here.
