Another anime in the Shinkalion series is officially in the works with the reveal of Shinkalion Change the World. The new series was announced via the official website, which shared a 30-second teaser trailer offering up some hints at the potential protagonist with the latest giant transforming train robot reflected in his eyes.
Other than that we know Signal M.D. and Production I.G are teaming up on the animation, with SMDE continuing to handle CG animation duties for the series. Check out the brief peek below.
The first entry in the series, Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion The Animation, aired from January 2018 to June 2019 for a total of 76 episodes, followed by a feature film in December 2019. Since then there has been a second TV anime, Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z, which aired in Japan from April 2021 to March 2022 for 41 episodes.
