Sasaki and Miyano Anime to Receive Continuation

Sasaki and Miyano Anime to Receive ContinuationSasaki and Miyano, the anime based on the manga by Sho Harusono, just finished airing. But for those who were enjoying the show, there’s some good news: Sasaki and Miyano will be back.

That’s the word from the series finale, which announced that there’s a new Sasaki and Miyano anime in the works.

It’s not yet clear whether that anime will be another series, a film, or something else entirely, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.

Funimation (er, the company formerly known as Funimation?) streamed the series outside Japan, and describes it like this:

Miyano’s world of Boys’ Love manga turns to reality when chance leads him to Sasaki. Now, Sasaki wants to spend every opportunity with him.

Meanwhile, here’s how Yen Press describes the original Sasaki and Miyano manga by Sho Harusono:

It all started like a typical old-school boys’ love plotline—bad-boy senior meets adorably awkward underclassman, one of them falls in love, and so on and so forth. But although Miyano is a self-proclaimed boys’ love expert, he hasn’t quite realized…he’s in one himself. Which means it’s up to Sasaki to make sure their story has a happily ever after…!
