Remake Our Life! (Bokutachi no Remake), a series of light novels about time travel, has landed an anime series.
The series will air in 2021.
The Remake Our Life! novels, which have won praise from places like Kono Light Novel wa Sugoi, center around Kyoya Hashiba, a game director who’s seen better days. With his studio bankrupt, he’s back in his parent’s house. But one day, he wakes up in his body 10 years ago as a college student with the chance to remake his life. But will everything go as smoothly as he expects?
The novels are written by Nachi Kio and illustrated by Eretto. The series has been running since 2017. There’s also a manga adaptation by Bonjin Hirameki.
Nachi Kio is also known to the otaku world for working on the stories for games like games such as The Fruit of Grisaia and Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue.
The novels’ tagline reads “let’s time-travel to 10 years ago and reenjoy creative and sweet youthful days.” I like it, but what I really want to do is time travel forward to 2021, both to see this anime and for, y’know, other reasons.
