Donguri Closet from Donguri Republic has come out with three outfits influenced by the iconic Ghibli movies Kiki’s Delivery Service, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and The Secret World of Arrietty. The outfits are supposed to be relax wear, so you can hang around and feel comfortable in them.
Each outfit has nods to the heroine of the respective movies. Kiki’s dress and red ribbon are pretty straightforward. If you look closely at Sheeta’s dress, you can see there’s a fox squirrel stitched in. The Arrietty dress, meanwhile, takes inspiration from Arrietty’s bedsheets.
The dresses become available for purchase on June 26 and can be purchased from the Donguri Closet website. They each cost 8,580 yen, or about $78.
