Back in 2015, Akiko Higashimura’s Princess Jellyfish manga revealed that it was on the way toward its final chapter. Fast forward to the September 2017 issue of Kodansha’s Kiss magazine and we finally have an end date. The series will officially come to its conclusion in the magazine’s October issue, which hits shelves in Japan on August 25.
This follows a recent hiatus that ran from January 2016 to the August issue of Kiss. Princess Jellyfish has been running in the magazine since 2008. To commemorate the ending, the October issue will come with a Clara and Tarareba magnet.
Here’s how Kodansha Comics, who releases the series in North America, describes it:
Tsukimi, who has loved jellyfish from a young age, resides in Amamizukan, a fangirl-only dorm. One evening at the local pet store, Tsukimi sees a lovely jellyfish in danger, but a beautiful woman comes to the rescue. They go back to Amamizukan together, but this “woman”… is actually a man!
