As revealed at this year’s Otakon, the next work from studio BONES (Fullmetal Alchemist, Eureka Seven) and Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Kids on the Slope) is Space Dandy!

Shingo Natsume (unit director on Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos) joins Watanabe in directing, with Star Driver‘s Yoshiyuki Ito on character designs, and you can preview their work along with Yasuyuko Okamura’s theme song, “Viva Namida,” in the promotional teaser below.

Space Dandy is set to make its debut in Japan next January.
