Popsicle Shaped Like Ninja Sword Drops in Japan

Popsicle Shaped Like Ninja Sword Drops in JapanHot and humid Japanese summers can be killer. But now denizens of Japan can cool off with a popsicle shaped like a ninja sword. Whew.

The popsicle, which will be sold at Ninja Cafe Takayama in Gifu Prefecture, is 45cm (17.7 inches) long, the same length as a real ninjato, or ninja sword.

Sales start July 22. One “sword” goes for 1,000 yen, or about 7 bucks with today’s crazy exchange rates. The cafe claims the popsicle is made with super hard ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about it melting as you cool off with this killer implement.

Ninja Cafe Takayama is also worth visiting for its variety of hands-on ninja activities, like shuriken throwing, blowgun blowing, and sword waving.
