A web anime was announced for hit game Pokémon Legends: Arceus back in March, and now the first episode has officially arrived online. The inaugural Pokémon: Hisuian Snow episode is titled “Into the Icy Blue,” and you can watch as Alec meets the Hisuian Zorua for the first time below.

Ken Yamamoto (Fate/Grand Order animation director and key animator) directs Hisuian Snow, with Taku Kishimoto (Pokémon: Twilight Wings) on scripts and KURO handling character designs for the WIT Studio production.
Look for the second episode to premiere on June 8.
First episode synopsis:
Against a backdrop of the vast Hisui region, Pokémon: Hisuian Snow follows the story of a boy named Alec who grew up believing that people and Pokémon cannot live together. In this first episode, Alec returns to the Hisui region to visit his father. There, he recalls events from his childhood when he encountered a wild Pokémon in a snow-covered forest…
