Pokémon Animator Masaaki Iwane to Launch YouTube Channel About Animation

Animator Masaaki Iwane has a long history with anime, especially when it comes to Pokémon, which he’s been working on since the very beginning. Iwane even has some standout credits on the likes of Dragon Ball Z, so it’s safe to say he’s an authority when it comes to animation. With that in mind, our interest was definitely piqued when he announced plans to launch a YouTube channel all about animation.

The channel is set to launch on May 10 at 8:00pm Japan Time, and there’s currently a trailer for it on YouTube. The video below is in Japanese without subtitles, but hopefully if the demand is there, Iwane will eventually make his channel’s videos more accessible to fans who speak other languages.
