The official Pokémon Twitter account took a moment to be thankful on Thanksgiving, and one of the key reasons was the upcoming Pokémon 25th anniversary celebration. According to the tweet, the fun kicks off in 2021, so it seems we might have something big to look forward to in the process.
Specifics haven’t been divulged, but the tweet told everyone to “stay tuned for more details” with a sly emoji wink. What do you think we’ll get during the big 25th anniversary milestone? More game announcements? More anime? All of the above, perhaps!
For those who missed it, Thanksgiving also marked Pikachu’s 20th consecutive appearance as a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float.
