And it hits Disney+ in about a week! To keep the hype train going, the series has just released a new trailer, plus some stills and cast deets.

The new cast members announced today are Shintaro Asanuma and Ryohei Kimura as Makimura and Cain, respectively. They join the already announced cast:

Honoka Yoshida as Com
Issey Ogata as Sudarban
Rie Miyazawa as Romi

The four-part series is also being released theatrically in Japan with an alternate ending. It’s directed by Shojiro Nishimi (Mutafukaz) with art direction from the legendary (sensing a theme?) Shinji Kimura (Children of the Sea, Tekkonkinkreet).

Phoenix: Eden17 hits Disney+ September 13, with the theatrical version hitting Japanese theaters November 3.
