Fans of Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord novel series can soon look forward to a very special release in Japan. When volume 14 hits shelves, it will also be available in a special edition that packs the book with a 120mm-tall limited edition figure of its lead character, Ainz Ooal Gown.
Kenji Ando, who also worked on Bandai’s S.I.C. (SUPER IMAGINATIVE CHOGOKIN) brand, designed the prototype for the figure. The basic special edition with the figure and the novel will be priced at ¥4,950 (about $46), but that’s not the only version available.
There’s also a Gamers limited set featuring an original microfiber towel with the following illustration on it for ¥7,590 ($68):
As well as an ebtenDX Pack version that comes with the figure, a square rubber mat, and a long-sleeve t-shirt. That set is priced at ¥9,350 ($83).
