Orange Manga Gets Extra Chapter Next Month

Feeling blue about the lack of Orange in your life? Good news: the popular romance manga will be getting a new chapter in next month’s Monthly Action magazine.

Orange, written by Ichigo Takano, originally ended in 2015 and inspired an anime series and movie and live-action film. Since then Takano has drawn a few spinoffs, including an adaptation of the Orange -Future- anime film, but this new chapter appears to be a continuation of the original.

The manga, for those not familiar, is about a 16-year-old student named Naho who receives a letter from her 27-year-old self telling her to keep an eye on an incoming transfer student.

If I wrote a letter to my 16-year-old self, it would say “create a bestselling manga called Orange.” Yeah, that’d be cool.
